An Indy Spring

This spring music festival draws an eclectic mix of tunes in an absolutely stunning setting directly on the warm Mediterranean coast. It’s grown in popularity, now attracting in excess of 100,000 attendees over the 3 day festival.

Primavera (Spanish for spring) is known for it’s independent music vibe. The festival moved to it’s new location in the Parc de Forum which is a great venue located on the Balearic Sea. Expect a wide range of musical styles and an artsy spin that would even make Guadi proud. In 2011, the Flaming Lips, Interpol and the National headlined. Expect to be impressed by musicians you’ve never heard of rocking as the sun sets then rolling well into the night.

The festival site -Parc del Fòrum- is 150 metres away from the underground station 'El Maresme - Fòrum'. Barcelona is a great place to spend some time and welcome in Spring with some good music. It’s just the right mix of modern, old, music, sunshine, palms, paella and siestas. Disfruta! Video trailer for Primavera.►
