Welcome to the Party Republic
This is the biggest electronic music festival in Eastern Europe. This festival started as a big air competition and party for kitesurfers who enjoy the good wind and long, sandy beaches of the Black Sea.
KaZantip is Not in Portugal. This is a spin off attempting to steal the name. The 20th anniversary will still be held in Popovka.
What began as an underground event on the Crimea peninsula of Ukraine has now grown into the biggest rave in Eastern Europe. Ukraine doesn’t have difficult visa restrictions like Russia and travel is a bit easier. Simferopol International Airport (SIP) is accessible by some of the cheaper European budget airlines.
Unlike other festivals there is no official performer schedule; you can expect anything at anytime. Before you can enter this self-declared “party republic” you must first obtain a “party passport” known as the multi-pass. Because its roots are in kite-surfing, Kazantip holds its own version of the X Games called the Z Games where partiers compete in jet-skiing, kite-surfing, dirt-biking and more. You can even get married at this festival but it is only valid inside the republic.► KaZantip is without question one of a kind.
