Northern Nightlife
It's 4 a.m. You've been to five cool clubs, seen ten great bands, made fifteen new friends and fallen in love twenty times. You're tired. You're wired. You're ready to find a bed. You're ready to find the after-party. This is Airwaves.
We love Iceland, in fact we're writing this from 101 Reykjavik right now. It's an amazing country we can't think of a better combo of natural awesomeness and raw party power. It must be the volcanos.
Airwaves comes at a good time in the annual festival year during the end of October. Venues are spread throughout the city providing intimate music experience you might not find at other festivals. Some of the venues not to miss are

Airwaves comes at a good time in the annual festival year during the end of October. Venues are spread throughout the city providing intimate music experience you might not find at other festivals. Some of the venues not to miss are
- Harpa - A brand new world class music hall which is a venue not to miss. It is stunning
- The Blue Lagoon Chill- Need we say more? World class lunar landscape and other worldly hot springs. Local legends Gus Gus threw down in 2011.
Music ranges from underground local heros to full on rock stars with a preference for quirky independent rock, are you surprised?
This time of the year you have a chance to see the Northern Lights► and don't miss out on the hotsprings dotting the countryside. Make sure you bring some warm clothes when you're walking between venues- or better yet buy an Icelandic wool sweater and blend in with the locals. Dress to impress... the local are stylish!
Reykjavik is not as far as you might think from Europe and the US even though it may feel that way.
